2025 National Reconciliation Week Street Banner merchandise now available

To celebrate and recognise the importance of National Reconciliation Week (NRW), the Reconciliation Street Banner project was created.  This year, over 300 banners will be flying high in prominent locations across the state, featuring Darryl Dempster's artwork, Snake Nest.

Darryl is a proud Noongar man and an emerging WA artist.

His artwork, Snake Nest, is now also available on our new range of merchandise.

'Snake stands as a testament to the rich cultural tapestry of the Indigenous peoples, blending traditional symbolism with contemporary artistic expression. It encourages a dialogue about the importance of family, nurturing, and the natural world, offering a powerful reminder of the beauty that lies in our shared experiences and relationships.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) runs from 27 May to 3 June annually and commemorates two historically significant events in Australia’s reconciliation journey - 27 May marks the anniversary of the successful 1967 referendum and 3 June marks the anniversary of the Mabo decision.
